Students and statistics don’t always go together, even if they are students in the Master of Business stream at one of Australia’s top business schools. To help students translate word-based problems to their algebraic form, the Australian School of Business developed Adaptive Tutorials in which students were drawing their own solutions and were given adaptive feedback, specific to their mistakes.

The Adaptive eLearning Platform has proved to provide an effective learning tool that teachers can utilize with minimal training to construct cutting-edge and relevant educational software. Students enjoyed learning this way and find it a refreshing change from solving textbook style problems. Most students want more tutorials developed.
